Let’s Talk Heart Health


These folks motivate me to live LIFE!

If you’ve been rocking with me for a while, you know that I am focused on helping you Live L.I.F.E. too! I want you to LIVE INTENTIONALLY FULLY ENGAGED…but sis, that means you have to BE ALIVE in order to LIVE!

What am I talking about?

I am talking about you making a commitment to #RELEASETHEPRESSURE!

Did you know that 49% of BLACK WOMAN who are 20 years and older have high blood pressure? Sis, please don’t act like that isn’t MIND BLOWING!

Another fact…did you know that High Blood Pressure in Black women is nearly 40% higher than white women in the US! Sis, we have to #ReleasethePressure!

As a mental health therapist, I am a proponent of not just #Selfcare but taking it to the next level…I want you to prioritize #Soulcare! Both are important…#Selfcare is doing the things necessary to make sure YOU are looking and feeling good…and #Soulcare is making sure your SOUL is good! We are MIND, BODY and SPIRIT…and when we neglect one, we neglect them all!

With that in mind, I wanted to give you a few tips to help YOU #Releasethepressure so that you can prioritize YOUR heart health!

  1. Follow @rtpressure on IG for more awareness of this silent killer so that we can all be healthy and well!
  2. Define your Happy! Identify what brings you fulfillment and do more of that!
  3. Identify what motives YOU to live fully and make sure you keep that TOP of MIND!
  4. Build a healthy community! Find a tribe that is committed to health, especially heart health!
